Holy crap. I ended up going out, doing a few shots, drinkin a few beers and ending the night at Labamba. It was great to see Miguel, Joey and Hannah. It put me in a MUCH better mood tonight=)

I am leaving for New York City in exactly a week. Who of my LJ friends have been there? Any places to recommend? It is such a huge city and I only have 4 days to explore. I want to eat pizza, go to Chinatown, see Ground Zero, and get awesome knockoff designer purses cheap. I honestly don't care if I don't go clubbing really, I just want to get some good shopping and eating done! I dunno, I just went to Miami a month ago and I'm not really ready for a vacation yet. Neither is my wallet :/

I have a job interview tomorrow w/a company called WMS Gaming. They make arcade games, video poker, slot machines, etc etc. It's a freaking admin position, but its $40K a year starting and not to mention it is on Roscoe and California. MEANING..I will be 5 min. from my place. Suh-wheet. Not sure if I want to leave Walgreens though. I mean, at walgreens I know that I won't be fired any time soon. But then again, i'm not sure if I am cut out for this huge corporation type dealie. People get promoted that shouldn't, and people like me that have been there forever busting my butt don't even get noticed. I am really sick of it. So..a change to a smaller company might do me good!

So, after dropping my phone ONE too many times it finally crapped out on me. First, the backlight stopped working. Then a few days later the front part of it stopped working also meaning I could no longer see who was calling me without flipping open my phone. It really sucked trying to screen phone calls!! So..last night, on my drunken rampage I pulled out the antennae and smashed it to the ground, breaking it in half. Thank god I have insurance, and my new phone is coming in the mail by Tuesday!

So..with that said I will need all your numbers again....

my goal today=to get 1,000 songs on my new Ipod. Wish me luck :D

I sold my Ipod for $150 today. Mind you...I got this thing for $130..AND used the hell out of it for almost 5 months!! $150 for a 15giger isn't too bad though. I'm using that money to buy myself a brand new one.

My body hurts. I had a free session w/the personal trainer yesterday. He kicked my ASS. I thought I had gained some weight after Miami..but I ended up losing more!!

Oh yeah..NYC in 2 weeks!!!

Even though I didn't know him that well, hearing the news that he had died brought tears to my eyes. Dan was a good guy, always in a great mood. Whenever I saw him, he'd perk up, give me a great big hug and lift me up off the floor. Being 6 ft something towering over me that was an easy thing to do. This picture is the last time I saw him. It was the Valentine's day party at the Logan. He gave me a big heart lolipop and said "I'm so glad you are here because I wanted to give this to you." Yeah it was just a friggin piece of candy, but it still brought a huge smile to my face. Who would think thats the last time I'd ever see him...

You will be missed.

HELLO EVERYONE!

I am so lazy but I'd like to give a little update on things...

( Read if you are really bored and want to hear about my miami trip )

wow..on the internet for a brief period while I do some laundry @ the parents house...I am all moved into the new place and will have my internet up and running next friday! It's been a crazy few weeks....Miami came and went and so did another week. I'll be having some kind of housewarming party soon, after all is settled. I have that huge backyard just asking for parties!!!! Pics from Miami will be up soon!

This will be my last entry for a little while. I am moving out tomorrow, and am losing my internet connection for a few weeks. I don't have access to Livejournal at work for some horrid reason, so I can't post there! I am off to Miami for the WMC this Wednesday...and hopefully when we are all settled in afterwards I'll have the net back up. So, if you comment, and I don't reply, that's the reason.

I am going to NYC next month...april 27 to may 1. we are driving, and it will be me and my 3 girl friends...our "Girls only" trip!! Shit, I am gonna be so broke from miami/Moving i'm not quite sure if I'll be able to afford it..


OH WELL!

What a jam packed weekend. Friday night met up w/Eamon and ate at the Parthenon in Greektown, then to an irish bar for some drinks. I got to listen to screechingly annoying bagpipers. Wasn't too down with paying $4 for a fucking cup of beer in a plastic cup so I decided to go home...

Saturday we went to the downtown Irish parade..and holy fuck it was COLD!!! Drinking Guinness wasn't helping much either, but the Bailey's did. Fuck the downtown parade-it was nothing compared to the Southside one today!!! Then I went to Darkroom last night, but when I go out when I wear my glasses I feel really geeky and hate being out. hah. I know..I can be dumb sometimes.

Today though went to the Southside Irish parade-I started drinking at 12, well into the end of the parade. We end up at one of the bars on Western and then I realize my wallet is missing!! I thought someone had stolen it, so I freaked out and ran back to Eamon's to cancel every credit card that was in there. Later on today I get a call from my mom who said someone had found my wallet and tracked my home# down from my DL information....turns out I had dropped it while I used someone's bathroom. It sucks I canceled everything but better safe then sorry. yeah thats what I get for being completely slammed at 2 in the afternoon;)
